Abdullah, our chef is able to cook a variety of delicious meals, and to help you decide we have provided a guide to his menu. Fresh fish and seafood is purchased by him from the local fisherman (keeping receipts for you to reimburse him) as well as you providing the necessary groceries. Please note that he can only cater for one dish per meal, apart from adapting the main meal for vegetarian, vegan, celiac or other dietary requirements.

The main supermarkets at Diani-Ukunda are Chandarana at the Diani strip, Baharini Plaza at the second shopping centre on Diani strip going south at T-junction, Muthaiga- Mini Market, Diani shopping centre or Naivas – Ukunda main road at T-junction with Diani
Fruit and Vegetables: The best stall is in the Baharini Plaza compound where Chandarana is situated. Basic vegetables and fruit such as tomatoes, cabbage, bananas, paw-paw, mango etc. plus bread and eggs can be bought in Msambweni Village but there is far more choice in Diani/Ukunda.
For fish and seafood, this is bought daily by the staff and comes to the back door. Just say what you would like and they will arrange with the fishermen. However, seafood such as lobster and prawns are subject to what the fishermen are able to catch that day. Kassim will arrange payment with you to reimburse him.
If you are running low beers and sodas are available at the canteen near the hospital in Msambweni village.
