"The house was great - right on the beach, with a very safe sand covered reef where young children could swim in the waves at full tide and explore rock pools at low tide. The house was on a large plot with plenty of coconut trees and felt very much like a home. The staff were very helpful and the chef was amazing, cooking some wonderful dishes with fresh fish caught daily on the reef."
"Jinchini is a truly unique and special place in every sense. The location could not be better, right on the beach. My wife and I were looking for somewhere quiet and private and Jinchini fitted the bill absolutely perfectly. The staff are charming and efficient. A particular mention must go to chef Abdullah who makes the most delicious meals (his curries are a must)!"
"This is an amazing place. It's our second time there and we had a great time. It's about 45 minutes south of Ukunda airport and that is a good thing. Very few people on the beach and the beach is MAGNIFICENT. The house help is amazing. Great cooks and great service. Make sure you wear insect repellant or clothing that fully covers you in the morning on the beach because there are sand flies whose bites last at least a month. Taking care of this is fairly easy though and shouldn't be a deterrent to renting this beautiful place."
"The house is beautifully placed directly on the ocean for an outstanding view and constant ocean breeze. The care and attention to detail provided by Kassim and the staff was outstanding. The meals were out of this world delicious and creative. Our group of 7 (2 children) really enjoyed the pool in the morning and the beach in the afternoon. We had an awesome experience at Jinchini and would highly recommend it. Asante Sana."

Everything about Jinchini was beautiful...you really can't prepare yourself for how nice the house and surroundings actually are - beach is pretty much private and stunning, and pool area perfect to relax. Asante sana to kassim, Abdullah (the food Abdullah cooked was delicious) and Suleiman, as well as the askaris Juma and Shree...can't recommend Jinchini enough, we will be back!"
"Everything about this location is exquisite...upon arrival we were blown away with the views of not only the ocean but the house and the surrounding greenery. The staff were extremely helpful and the cooking was out of this world. We have 3 children ranging from 6-15 years and we had to drag them away at the end of our stay. They were kept busy at the pool and the beach and all are requesting we return to Jinchini on our next visit to Kenya."

"It was such a pleasure to spend time in a true Kenya 'coast' house with its spaciousness and simplicity with all you need without being fussy - all reminiscent of an earlier era. It was a joy to be there and a tonic for the spirit to relax in the garden looking out on the Indian Ocean and the fishermen quietly going about their business - having seen many of the worlds tropical coast lines none in my view area a patch on those of the east African coast with its palms, casuarina trees and constant monsoon breeze. "What an excellent place to relax and get spoiled by the excellent staff who are very helpful in organizing, washing and most of all excellent cooks! Fresh fish, sweet fruit and don't forget the prawn curry! The town is non touristic, you will have the whole beach for you! But closeby you can visit touristic activities, like town Diani, Kisite Marine Park or Shimba national park. A recommended stop after a Kenyan safari: chill-out at Jinchini!"

It is very private yet with the beach at the end of the garden, just metres from the house. A truly stunning place to stay.
